You've planned to swap inexpensive gifts with a friend. How will you feel if he/she gives you a handmade present?

Is it an ornament or some kind of holiday decoration? Because I love that stuff.
Like we're on the same page. Handmade gifts are a refreshing change.
I'd be thrilled. Any present from a friend is special to me.
Like it's exactly perfect and just what I needed.
I'd wonder how he/she found the time. I'm always so busy around the holidays.
I probably bought his/her gift in a store, but I still think handmade stuff is nice.
That sounds fine. (I'm not picky.)
I'd be a little disappointed, but I'd pretend to like it.

No matter how busy you are at this time of year, you make time for:

making snow angels.
relaxing at home.

starting a new family tradition? even if it's just something little.
buy the perfect outfit for a holiday party.
playing with my younger relatives.
all of the above.

Your family decides to spend the holidays in the Colorado mountains (just like Tom & Katie!). When the local weather forecast says something about the "windchill factor" and mentions a very low temperature, how do you react?

I change the channel. Maybe a holiday movie is playing!
I'm not worried. My holidays are going to be a big success, no matter how cold it gets.
If I go outside at all, I will wear approximately fourteen layers.
No complaints. I like cold weather in the winter ? it wakes me up.
I'm okay with it, as long as the roads don?t get icy. I have stuff to do.
He's basically saying, "You'd have to be stupid to go outside." So I won't.
I clap excitedly (but it's muffled, because I?m wearing mittens) and go build a snow fort.
I kind of want to start a band and call it Windchill Factor.

You'll reach for a holiday snack when?

a relative offers me one.
I need a break from skiing or ice-skating.
I start getting dizzy from watching the dreidel spin.
it's too festive and tasty-looking to resist.
I see one that's not full of sugar and artificial colors.
I wander into the kitchen, and something delicious is waiting for me.

If you could spend tonight at a holiday party in any room in the world, you'd pick a room with:

Big, comfy chairs
Lots of candles
A DJ and a dance floor
A perfect-looking tree and classy, coordinating decorations
Blinking lights, plastic reindeer, and spray-on snow
An old-fashioned tree decorated with strands of popcorn and stuff
Lots of familiar stuff in it. I'd throw a party at my house.
A huge window with a view of winter scenery (and maybe even a real deer)

You look around this lovely party and realize you don't actually know anyone. What do you do?

Feel a little shy. I might look like I have it together, but I'm a different person on the inside.
Compliment someone standing near me, and see if it starts a conversation.
Walk around and check out the decorations.
Talk to someone else who's standing alone. I tend to make friends fast.
Take a few photos with my digital camera.
Find someone with flirt potential.
Find a place to sit down and watch the festivities.
Feel very, very tempted to sneak away and go home.

The holidays are a time for sharing. This year, you're sharing:

my sense of peace. I hope it's infectious.
my home with anyone who needs a place to celebrate.
my fresh perspective with someone who seems jaded.
my decorating theory: More tinsel!
my favorite holiday traditions with someone new.
comforting words with someone who's under a lot of stress.
