A mix of warm, melty, delicious thoughts.
I want to bake some homemade ones soon.
The grocery store brands are okay, but the ones from my favorite bakery are amazing.
The store-bought kinds are less work, but the homemade ones are more delicious... I'm torn.
I like when they're homemade and organic.
I'm picturing an old lady who calls people things like "Sugar" and "Cookie" because she can't remember their names.

Pick the big crumbs off of my clothes and eat them (especially if nobody's looking).
Brush the crumbs off of whatever I'm wearing, then pick them up and throw them away.

I can usually sense when they've been in long enough.
I stare through the little window on the oven door as they're baking and take them out the second they look edible.
I'm not that careful about it. Even if they're a bit mushy or burned, I will eat them and love them.
I set a timer for whatever time the recipe says, and adjust the time for future batches based on how this one turned out.
I set a timer, just in case I get busy with something else while they're in the oven.
It's around ten minutes, more or less, right?
I always take them out earlier than the recipe says. I like when they're still soft inside.
I check on them constantly so they won't be undercooked or overcooked.
